Product Description

It is a genuine OEM sourced replacement control cable which is commonly installed on garden tillers. This is is the cable that stops the tine when the control lever is released, if the cable is broken it will cause the tine to not engage even when the lever is pressed. Make sure to refer to the appropriate diagrams of your model for the correct location and application of this component. Please note this high-quality rubber insulated cable is sold individually. Replacing it is a simple task that should only require a screwdriver and pliers.

When you own and operate 30-year old machinery or, if you drive 20 year-old vehicles, it's important to accept that repairing them will probably be expensive in the short run. Get new clutch cable, take old part off of tiller. Take notice where and how it is attached. Replace with new part. Test tiller. Worked great!

Remove pulley cover.
Replaced engine transfer pulleys and brackets to new engine.
Remove drive pulley from transmission Used Impact wrench on the pulley.
Used a pickle fork to loosen the pulley. Diameter was to large for any pullers I have.
Route clutch cable and throttle cable through handle.
