This is a genuine manufacturer-sourced part which is specially designed for use with MTD tillers. The throttle cable is connected to the carburetor and it stops the engine when you shift the lever to the full choke position. This high-quality rubber insulated component is sold individually, keep in mind the housing, the trigger, and the hardware are all sold separately. Please make sure to refer to the appropriate diagrams of your model for the correct location and application of this throttle control wire.
