This is an authentic manufacturer-approved part which is specially made for use with Husqvarna chainsaws. Its purpose is to filter out dust and debris from contaminating the carburetor and the engine, unfortunately, over time it may wear out and get clogged eventually requiring a replacement to maintain peak performance.
