Followed instruction in the manual. Yes I kept the manual. I\'m a woman.
The nut holding the blade was very tight; and yes I used the block of wood to secure the blade. After several attempts, it finally budged. I was surprised. I had a backup plan if I could not do this myself. Not sure if I\'d attempt anything more complicat ed, but this I successfully tackled. Thanks for making it easy to get the parts for this 2008 mower.

Remove head, scrape off carbon from combustion chamber, replace head using a new gasket, replace spark plug. Starts and runs like new!
