This replacement air filter is a high quality item that is specially manufactured for Shindaiwa handheld lawn and garden equipment. Its purpose is to remove the dust and other contaminants from the air that goes into the engine. This sealed felt filter is sold individually, please note the foam pre-filter is sold separately. Replacing this air filter is a very simple task that does not require any tools.
1. Gap new spark plug to factory setting.
2. Remove old spark plug using factory socket wrench.
3. Make a wire hook to grab fuel filter( it is located at the end of the fuel supply tube which is in the fuel tank).
4. Open clamp wire on fuel line to release fuel filter; reverse procedure to replace filter.
