When the drive lever is pulled upward, the mower transmission is engaged. 1. Remove the spark plug wire from the spark plug. 2. Remove the cover over the drive wheels. 3. Replace the cable. 4. Replace the cover over the drive wheels. 5. Connect the spark plug wire back. The Control Cable is part 946-04661A. This special cable is commonly used to engage the lawnmower's engine.
