Fuel leak

Removed 3 screws with Phillip\'s Head Screw Driver to remove tank. Used small flat head screw driver to pry rubber fuel gasket out,replaced all parts and put back together less then 30 minutes.

Tank leaked fuel

1. Removed old Grommet Very, very hard to get out , almost had to cut it, but WD 40 help
2. Worst part putting new tubes into new grommet.
3. Next lots WD 40, etc to get unit into tank
4. Last to get correct tube lengths

These 3 parts should be sold as 1 UNIT

Grommet in the fuel tank leaked fuel.

1. I removed the old grommet from the fuel tank, along with it came the two fuel lines and the fuel filter.
2. I removed the fuel lines from the carburetor.
3. I used dielectric grease to lube the grommet and slid the two fuel lines through the grommet.
4. I installed the new fuel filter with the little clamp.
5. I installed the new grommet into the fuel tank.
6. I reattached the two fuel lines to the carburetor making sure to correctly attach the intake and return lines to their correct place on the carb,
7. Filled the tank with fuel and cranked the edger, problem solved!
