A screwdriver might be necessary when replacing this part if it becomes broken or bent. This part is made out of metal and is available individually.

Buy your parts from Ereplacement parts.com and follow their instructions, take your machine apart put it back together the way you found it and you\'ll be back in business. All you have to do, is to Install the spring onto the inner reel, and let some cutting line out through the eyelets. Then press the inner reel into the outer spool, th en tighten up the bump head knob assembly.
