This is available as an individual replacement part. The metal rear pivot arm fits between the spring arm and the flat washer. A socket set and a wrench set may be necessary during the installation of this part. It may become broken and will need to be replaced. This is a genuine replacement part sourced from the original manufacturer for use with lawn mowers made by Toro.
Remove the bolt and washer from the wheel a]n remove the wheel
Remove the bolt and washer from behind the wheel
Place the new plate and replace the bolt and washer
Then slide the wheel on and install the wheel washer and bolt
