Removed 2 screws at the top of the gearbox and 1 screw in the center which positioned the gearbox on the trimmer shaft.
Slide the new gearbox onto the trimmer shaft, aligning the center hole on the gearbox with the hole on the shaft.
Install the new center screw, then the 2 new self tapping screws.
1 removed trimmer head and shroud
2 removed screws from gearbox and detached old gearbox.
3 installed new gearbox insuring worm gear seated properly
4 tightened all screws
5reinstalled shroud and trimmer head
