Insert wrench onto shaft and turn the damaged pad counter clockwise. Keep wrench on the shaft and screw on the replacement pad by turning clockwise. Remove wrench as repair is complete.

Hold jam nut behind the pad with wrench provided with the tool. Then turn the pad with your hand to remove and thread new pad on and tighten with wrench.

An open ended wrench locked the shaft and just unscrewed the old pad.
Then screwed in the new one.

Grabbed a wrench and locked on to the arbor spun the pad off and spun the new one on. Simple and quick fix!!
