This is a genuine OEM part. The bearing housing is made for use with the Black and Decker GH3000 Type 1 High Performance 7.5A 14" Electric String Trimmer. This protective item is constructed of durable plastic, and is fitted over the wheel and spool housing components. The bearing housing is sold individually. A hex key and pliers may be required for the repair.
The instructions on your site was useful but I had to hack saw the spool housing apart. Once I did that all came apart as it should and the new parts assembly was fine.
