Remove screws from housing assembly and remove one side, note how the coil spring is placed in the housing. Remove one wire at a time from the old switch and place it in the same place in the new switch. Remove worn brushes by pulling back brush retaining spring out of brush holder and placing it on the brush holder terminal. Remove worn brushes and install the new ones. Replace the spring. Put housing back together. Done.
