Reel was rough spinning and locking up

Removed the spool release and drag adjustment, flipped the bail removed the line spool, allowing access to the ... Read more main shaft. Removed the nut, and removed all the screws from the reel body opening up the gears. (Cleaning out old grease and dirt)From there I had to pull off the reel handle, and slightly lift the main gear, to be able to slide the main shaft in sequence. This opened up the crosswind gear and I was able to switch the old with the new and reverse the sequence to put it all back together. (Applying extra reel grease before fastening the screws back in the reel body. Used it all day today on the gulf of mexico with no problems!
