Took cover off of reel housing with screw driver, and replaced the main gear with the new one.

Broken gear teeth

1. Remove housing cover.
2. Loosen crosswind block plate screw.
3. Extract the spool shaft, lift out the main gear.
4. Replace the main gear, reverse steps 1-3.

Pulled off side cover of fishing reel removed small screw from spool rod and pulled out gears. Then installed the new main gear.

Disassembled entire reel,
Removed worn and stripped parts,
Cleaned reel and slightly greased all internal parts components,
Carefully reassembled reel using the manufacture\'s schematic as a reference.

followed reel schematics to take a prt and put all parts back together. Reel is like brand new and is over 12 years old now!
