Idler gear deteriorated. Level wind ceased to work. Reel is almost 20 years old and has cranked in a lot of fish.

Removed the necessary screws and side plates. Cleaned and lubricated all internal components. Removed and replaced damaged parts. Reassembled, and now operates good as new.
