1. Unscrewed the whole reel to where the pawl was located.
2. Took the old pawl out.
3. Put the new pawl in.
4. Put my reel back together.

I used a Utube video to watch the basics on removing the housing and carefully take the entire parts out until you reach the level wind. Remove very easy and replacement parts fit perfectly. I cleaned and replaced the grease. Reassembled carefully and she works like it was brand new.

1. Remove the handle and the brake.
2. Remove the sides plates on the reel.
3. Remove the spool.
4. Remove the line guide, the worm shaft and the pawl.
5. Replace the worm shaft and the pawl.
6. Reassemble in reverse order.
7. The reel works fine!
