Abused and abandoned Shimano Torium 50

Sterling from Lahaina, Hawaii

Difficulty Level:
A Bit Difficult
Total Repair Time:
1- 2 hours
Tools:
Screw drivers, Wrench (Adjustable)
Parts Used:
10MB1, 10KX6, 10KAM, 10HZ5, 10F5B, 105NJ
I received a Shimano Torium 50 that was sitting in the back of a truck for who knows how long.
It looked liked a lost cause, but I decided to try to repair it anyway.
I had to completely disassemble the reel and clean every part/surface.
The bearings were totally seized and rusty, the Roller Clutch Inner Tube was crac ked and it was missing the click spring.
The Schematic provided was really helpful! This reel has 100+ individual parts!
The new parts fit exactly where they needed to.
Now I have a smooth running Torium that will catch fish here in Hawaii for many years to come!
