Removed the old parts and installed the new parts. Very easy job to complete.
The hardest part was putting the spring in place. To compress the spring , I used a medium sized flat screw driver and placed it in the end of the spring so it screw driver went part way in the spring and the wider part was able to push on the spring and w ... Read more

1. Removed side plate
2. Replaced new sideplate
3. Cost of new sideplate was not too expensive compared to a new brakeband.

Carefully removed the spring which released the brake. Replaced brake Had to replace the spring which was very hard to get in place
