1. removed every thing, cleaned out all the debris in the firebox, then reassembled in reverse order using the new parts. Taking the old stuff out was harder than installing the new stuff due to the rust and corrosion

Removed rusted parts, gave grill box good cleaning, installed new replacement parts.

Everything went very well. eReplacement parts were either genuine or exact copies of CharBroil parts being replaced. This made the repair easy, didn\'t have to struggle with aftermarket parts that may not have fit so well. Happy customer h ere.....

Burners, carry over tubes and flame tamers were pretty much gone. Have had this grill 4-5 years. All in an outdoor setting.

craig from CHELSEA, Iowa

2 of 2 people found this instruction helpful.
Difficulty Level:
Easy
Total Repair Time:
15 - 30 mins
Tools:
Pliers
Used the pliers to remove the old hairpin clips. (rusted into place)
Then removed what was left of the burners, carry over tubes and flame tamers.
Most of the repair time was spent with the shop vac cleaning out the bottom of the grill.
Then it was just a matter of putting the new parts back in and presto it works like new again
Total cost was just over $60 dollars versus a new grill at about $350.
