It is a genuine high quality replacement part that is sourced directly from original equipment manufacturer for use with Bosch and Skil saws. This is the ball bearing for the worm gear set, please refer to appropriate diagram of your equipment for correct location and application of this item. Over time due to regular wear from heat and pressure a bearing may wear out and begin to fail eventually requiring replacement. It is a closed side metal bearing that is sold individually.
