Product Description

?

This genuine replacement part is designed for use with Poulan gas blower. It is sourced from original equipment manufacturer and it is sold individually. The purpose of this part is to mix air and gas before the fuel mix goes to the engine. If the engine won't start and the tank is full of fresh fuel, test the carburetor by removing the air filter and pouring about a teaspoon of fuel into the carburetor. Pull the starter rope. If the engine starts and then quickly dies, the carburetor is likely the problem. To complete this repair you would need a screwdriver.

After several hours of working on the old carburetor, including a kit from a local supplier, I bought a replacement carburetor from ereplacementparts.com. I removed the air filter assembly, then I removed the fuel lines and throttle cable from the old carburetor. I installed the new carburetor and attached the fuel lines and throttle cabl e, then the air cleaner. The blower started on the first pull. All I had to do was adjust the idle speed with a screwdriver.

Replaced the carburetor with a new one purchased here. Really improved
the starting of my leaf blower.. This Poulan blower has always been difficult or impossible to start. It now usually starts on the 3rd pull One day it actually started on the 1st pull which it has never done ( I don\'t really expect this on any 2 cycle motor bu t kind of nice !!).
