Went on line to the eReplacement Parts website. entered serial number, view appropriate diagram. Selected the necessary parts, placed my order and waited for the parts to arrive. Once they arrived I installed parts and went to work using the trimmed. This repair was simple because it only involved removing and replacing a few screws.
this cap has guides inside of it to guide the string through the holes on the head. popped the cracked one out with a screwdriver and put the new one in. works like new. thanks
removed string from head , used screwdriver to pry out cap from head. orientate new cap tap in with screwdriver head and load new line and get after that grass
