This replacement carburetor is an authentic OEM sourced replacement part. It is designed for use with gas trimmers. Carburetor mixes air and gas before the fuel mix goes to the engine. If the engine won\'t start and the tank is full of fresh fuel, test the carburetor by removing the air filter and pouring about a teaspoon of fuel into the carburetor. Pull the starter rope. If the engine starts and then quickly dies, the carburetor is likely the problem. This carburetor has a metal body and it includes a rubber primer bulb and a plastic throttle lever. 1. Empty fuel tank.
2. Remove air filter cover by loosing a single screw.
3. Remove two fuel tubes connecting tank to carburetor.
4. Using Torx tamper proof star bit to remove two screws which fasten the carburetor.
5. Check the washer, make sure it is not broken.
6. Put the carburetor back on.
