Product Description
?This is a genuine Dewalt replacement part, it is sold individually. The purpose of the 372105-01 Blade, is to plane wood material and leave a smooth finish. There are two blades requires on each of the tools listed below. This Blade is reversible. To remove the blade ,loosen the bolts that secure the blades. Use a screwdriver to begin sliding the blade out, then you can carefully remove it with your fingers. Turn the blade around and insert back into the holder, making sure it is centered and not touching either side of the planer, fasten the bolts tight now. Rotate the drum and repeat the process again.

Blade broke

Carefully remove the blade from the cutterhead.
Install the new blade in the same place on the cutterhead.
Hold the blade down as you tighten the nuts on the cutterhead.
Repeat for the other side.

2. Loosened three screws on the cover plate that holds the blades.
3. Inserted the new blades and tightened screws back after making sure of correct alignment.
4. Reinstalled the cover plate with screws.

Belt take off the side cover sloped off the old belt sloped the new on replaced the cover and everything works great
Planer picked up some soft wood and it broke a blade, bent a blade support and broke the belt.

2) Since I could no longer buy the blades and retainers separately, I bought a complete cutter head assembly. It was easier to swap out the blades, holders and retainers rather than remove the old cutter head to replace the whole assembly,
3) remove blades and retainers ... Read more and holders from the new cutter assemble and replace them on the in-place cutter head,
4) The only tricky bit is to make sure both blades are set at the same height before you tighten down on the Blade Retainers and Blade Holders.
5) To replace the belt; remove the cover,
5) Remove the belt retainer disk from the driven pulley and replace the belt then the retainer disc,
6) Close up, \"smoke test\" and you are done.
