The high lift blade attaches to the blade holder and is available as an individual replacement part. This genuine item is supplied directly from the original equipment manufacturer for use with Honda lawn mowers. It is made of metal and will require replacing if it becomes broken. During the replacement process, a socket set may be needed to replace the blade.

Blades are getting dull & sharpened twice .ItGÇÖs time to get a new pair of blades for the next spring.
Replaced the blades from old & dull (sharpened 2X) with a new pair for next spring. Easy change the blades with socket wrench & a 2x4x@ 18in piece lumber for hold the moving blades while loosen the bolts & tighten respectively.
Before removing the bolts , spray W40 to bolts do it can loosen up , wait few minutes than Remove the 2 bolts which holds both upper and lower blade and install height blade and rescrew the bolts tight and job is done, Make sure both bolts are tight before starting the lawn mower.
Took off blade bolt with 14mm socket and reinstalled High lift blade. Air cleaner cover pops off. Then remove the old filter and place the new filter in. Ordered the mulching blade for when I want to mulch.

The blade was in a very bad shape. Made the lawn mower shake.
Used a board to hold the blade. Removed the bolt from the blade and replaced it.
