This replacement 25 amp circuit breaker is specially designed for use with Powermate generators. It is an authentic OEM sourced part, not an aftermarket imitation. This circuit breaker is an automatically operated electrical switch that will protect the unit from the damage caused by an overload or a short circuit. Its basic function is to detect a fault condition and interrupt current flow. Please note, this plastic item is sold individually. To replace this item you will need a screwdriver.

Remove the nuts from the breakers, that secures the breakers to the front panel
Remove the breakers
Take one breaker at a time and replace the wire connectors from the old breaker to the new breaker
Place the threads of the breakers into the front panel, then screw the nuts on

Generator would only produce power on one outlet

Removed housing holding outlets . Started generator. Took readings with volt meter before and after circuit breakers found two breakers failed replaced all breakers. Power output at all outlets. Reassembled unit and put into use.

Disassemble the control panel (outlets, breakers housed) disconnect 2 wires plug in type, from old breaker and remove. Install new breaker, attach wires and reassemble panel. Philips screwdriver and pliers required.

1 circuit breaker continually tripped

had to remove the screws on the gas tank, removed the 4 screws to remove plate that held the circuit breakers, receptacles, had to raise the gas tank and heat shield to remove that plate, unplugged the generator from the plate, removed the circuit breakers, (I replaced both of them) Used pliers to remove ring nuts that hold the CB in, rep laced them, put the plate back in reattached the plug, put the screws back in on the plate, put the screws back in that held the gas tank and heat shield in, started the generator up and tested worked great, Circuit Breakers were exact replacement. easy fix!
