Product Description

?

It is an authentic manufacturer-sourced replacement part which is specially designed for use with Craftsman Trimmers. The Gearbox Assembly contains the gears that turn the line spool for cutting. The most common reason for replacing the gearbox assembly is if the trimmer head is not spinning or there is grinding noise coming from the trimmer head. The gearbox assembly includes 3 screws, mounting hardware, Cap, and the Head assembly. Tools that you will need to replace the gearbox assembly are a Small screwdriver or hex wrench, Phillip's screwdriver and a Socket/Ratchet set (or wrench set).

I found out I ordered the wrong lower tube but the gear box works great . I needed the lower tube that has the button on side of tube for different attachments instead of the one that just slides in . Ended up fixing my old lower end and put new gear box on it and everything works great again. I have the 4 stroke weed eater and it really does the job .
