Followed your YouTube video to disassemble it. Except the pin had to be drilled out since it could not be driven out. All parts fit great. Without the pin problem it would of taken 15 minutes easily.
I followed the video provided. My KitchenAid Proline, model KSM5, mixer was not a tilt top so I had to remove four screws to remove the motor unit off the stand then remove another two screws located within the square of the four screw to remove the motor cover to access the gears.
