W680-0008, W680-0004, W010-0865
Turned off gas to stove, removed logs and embers; remove 1/4\" screws and remove ember screen; loosed nut holding Thermopile and Thermocouple from mounting bracket; had to loosen screws on main value to rotate slightly to get access to loosen the Thermocouple nut on value, installed new Thermocouple nut on value and carefully routed and slightly bent cooper line of Thermocouple in a circle to clear access are and mounted Thermocouple and nut to mounting bracket; removed wire connections on old Thermopile and installed new Thermopile wire ends; routed new Thermopile wire in access area and installed Thermopile and tighten nut on mounting bracket, tighten screws on main value, installed new ember screen, placed logs and embers back in place and closed front glass door and both side doors, turn gas back on and started pilot light; stone operates as normal.

Hard to Expert.
Working with gas supply, so the person doing repair should be knowledgeable of process and dangers of working with a gas supply to avoid fire hazard.

1) Turn off gas supply
2) Unplug electric supply
3) Open firebox glass
4) Remove any glow coals / ash
5) Remove logs ... Read more >6) Clean soot and debris from everywhere inside fire box
7) Remove fire log plate
8) Remove screws to loosen pilot cluster
9) Remove Pilot and Gas Valve Control cover
10) Remove damaged thermocouple
11) Bend and fashion new thermocouple to fit behind control cover, and also connect to the gas valve and the slide into the opening for the thermocouple sleeve in the pilot cluster
12) Tighten connectors at each end of the thermocouple
13) Replace the screws in pilot cluster
14) Replace the control cover
15) Replace the fire log plate
16) Replace the fire logs
17) Replace glow coals and ash
18) Close and seal fireplace glass
19) Plug in electric supply
20) Turn on gas supply
