This control is for electric grills.
The control connects the grill to an electrical outlet and lets you control the grill's cooking temperature.
Follow the instructions in your owner's manual when installing this part.
I removed the controller it just plugs into the heating element , then I removed two screws that hold the heating element in and replaced it with the new one it was a very easy task only took about 15 minutes and a lot cheaper than buying a new grill.
1. Removed controller by using hands to pull it out
2. Removed element by unscrewing 2 bolts, one on inside and one on outside using nut driver (9/16\" I think??). Saved the nuts because the new element did not come with new ones.
3. Cleaned bottom of grill including the drip pan - very dirty job!

5. Inserted new controller by pushing it into the element
6. Plugged it in to check - and it worked!
