This is an authentic manufacturer-sourced replacement part which is specially designed for DeWALT framing nailers. This o-ring provides an air-tight seal for between connected parts, please make sure to refer to the appropriate diagrams of your model for the correct location and application of this component. Over time the material may wear out, get compressed and begin to crack eventually requiring a replacement to maintain peak performance. Removed the screws from the top cap and replaced all of the worn o-rings. Cleaned the internal parts of the gun and oiled it. Then installed the top cap back on. Works like a new nail gun now.
Remove nail magazine remove end housings remove trigger assy remove internal parts and lay out in order of removal clean all parts install new o-rings and reassemble in reverse order
