Genuine Dewalt replacement part, this item is sold individually. There are two of the 5140061-65 Bevel Gear used in the Table Saw model numbers shown below. When these two Bevel Gears are mated, it makes it possible to raise and lower the blade. Every so often it is a good idea to clean the gears of sawdust and debris.

1. Remove blade & motor assembly
2. Remove snap rings
3. Remove stripped bevel gear
4. Install new gear
5. Reassemble saw

Teeth had broken off the bevel gear that adjusts the blade up and down on my Dewalt table saw.

Removed the 17 mm lock nut and wavy washer holding the damaged bevel gear.
Removed and replaced the damaged bevel gear.
Reinstalled the 17 mm lock nut and wavy washer, being careful not to over-tighten the nut.

Remove screws so motor could move for added room,used spring clamp removal tool removed old bevel gears and install new ones in the reverse order
