This replacement o-ring is a high quality item that is specially produced for Dewalt framing nailers. It is used to provide an air tight seal between the bumper and the collar. For correct location and application of this part please make sure to check appropriate diagrams. Note that this rubber o-ring is sold individually.
Took it apart, cleaned it up. Replaced all the o-rings & seals. Pretty simple repair. The parts diagram on your website was perfect. Helped me order the correct parts.
1. Removed the piston and the bulkhead.
2. Replaced the o-ring, found a leak at the trigger.
3. Took it apart and replaced the o-ring in it. Works fine now.
Removed the top cap of the nail gun. Then removed the cylinder. Located 3 o-rings that were worn and stretched. Removed the them and replaced them with the new parts. And thoroughly cleaned and oiled the gun. Then reassembled it. It shoots like a new gun.
