1. Remove screws on top of router
2. Remove router top
3. Remove screws holding power cable
4. Remove cord protector and damaged cord
5. Replace with new parts and reverse installation.

1. Disassembled handle
2. Removed cord wires (2-power, 1-ground)
3. Trimmed replacement cord wires to length
4. Attached black & gray power wires to trigger switch & retainer button
5. Attached ground wire
6. Gathered wires to fit inside handle & assembled handle
7. Tested sander: worked fine
