This is an authentic replacement part sourced directly from the manufacturer. The pivot rod is found in scroll saws from DeWALT and Delta. This part is made of metal, and is used to hold the vertical rocker assembly between the left and right housings, allowing it to pivot with the motion of the drive links. I replaced several sleeves, vertical rocker assembly, con rod assembly. Both come with bearings and sleeves. Con rod assembly must be purchased in order to get the proper sleeve. The sleeve that is listed in diagrams is wrong. Needed two new m6 screws to replace stripped ones. The project is still ongoing, waiting for con rod assembly to arrive. Took all parts with sleeves and bearings apart to check for wear, then applied Valvoline synthetic bearing grease in all bearings using Q tips. Also did the sleeves. Inserted sleeves and wiped excess grease. Lubrication from the factory will only last around a year. Valvoline synthetic grease should last at least 10 years. If your scroll saw is new, I recommend stripping it down and use the grease mentioned to keep your bearings and sleeves in new condition. Check all sleeves for scratches and indentations. Replace the ones that are bad.
