This high quality rubber tire is a genuine OEM sourced item that is utilized on Makita band saws. It is secured over the wheel drives the blade to provide traction. Over time these rubber tires stretch and harden allowing blade to slip. When putting the new tire on a band saw wheel it may seem too small however it really is not. These tires will typically come approximately two or more inches smaller than the old tire that is being replaced. You will need to put the new tire in warm water to heat the tire making it pliable enough to stretch. Please note one durable rubber tire is included per order.
