Being a used Makita model LS1220 Miter saw it had been apparently used as spare parts for another unit.

I simply replaced the missing Flange washer, Spacer ring and LH threaded flange bolt to mount the new 12\" saw blade onto the saw. The missing \"caps\" are the rubber feet that the saw sits on and those just pushed into place. I should have bought a second flange washer but was able to improvised one from my spare parts bin. Everythin g ordered was exactly right and could not have been any easier to get this saw back into useful condition.

Spindle was bent

Remove spindle cap, housing, bearing, and gear.
Use press to remove spindle from bearing and gear
Use press to install new spindle in bearing and gear
Install housing assembly back in saw

Switch safety lock was broken.
