Product Description

?

This replacement service switch assembly is utilized on Milwaukee compact hammer drills. It is an authentic OEM sourced item, not an aftermarket imitation. This assembly includes a switch and a carbon brush holder with lead wires attached. Mechanical on/off switches tend to wear out and eventually fail requiring replacement. Carbon brushes play an important role in an electric motors because they help to conduct electricity. To replace this service switch assembly you would need a screwdriver. • First make sure the tool is unplugged • Remove the housing screws • Separate the housing pieces • Disconnect wires from the old switch and the brush card • Remove the old assembly • Secure the new service switch assembly • Connect the wires • Reassemble and test the tool

Removed all torques screws from side, back, and front. Carefully separate and pay close attention on how everything is laid in place ,wires ,motor ,switch, brushes , for it has to go back to gather the same way. That is the key to a successful repair.
