This is an authentic manufacturer sourced replacement part, it is specially produced for use in Senco staplers. It is the item that provides and air-tight seal for the valve assembly. Over time the material may shrink, become brittle and crack eventually requiring replacement to maintain peak performance. It is made of durable rubber material and it is sold individually.
I decided to clean out and replace the seals in the gun. Cleaned all the internal moving parts , replaced all the o-rings and the valve assembly, put it all back together and It works fine now.
Lay out all the new parts and as you remove the one old one replace it with the new one.
Took the 4 Allen screws out removed top pull piece out of cylinder replaced all the seals push it back in reinstalled top and Screws and presto fixed works like new.
