Leaking out of the exhaust port at rear

2. Remove end cap gasket. Cylinder is too wide to remove without taking off the gasket.
Carefully scrape off torn pieces.
3. Remove cylinder, keeping track of hammer and bumpers/spacers at the front.
4. Remove broken pieces of rear cylinder seal.
5. Clean cylinder and check O-rings, ap ... Read more plying oil as necessary.
6. Reinstall cylinder, hammer, bumper, spacers into main body.
7. Line up gasket and reinstall cap.
8. Dry fire before trying nails. Hammer may need to reset itself internally.
The sills on my stapler were old and started to leak air.
