Disassembled the handle and replaced worn parts. Also replaced the mulching blade. The old lock nut was on really tight. Had to use WD-40 and a pipe extender on the adjustable wrench in order to loosen the nut. Replaced knobs that had been lost over the years and cushioned handle grips that had ripped. Removed front cover
Removed battery tray/cover
Remove broken lower handle
Assemble new lower handle
Chase threads on handle carridge bolt for new knob
Re-assemble
4 forward torx screws are captured in orange cover, no need to retrieve.
Some screws are in deep tube of cover. Lots of buildup to clea

Screws were combination torx-flat screwdriver. Screwdriver worked best to loosen tight screws.
Pay attention to cable path along handle when seating rear battery tray & cover.
Went well, saved a friend from buying a new mower for a simple fix.
