This is an OEM replacement part, sold individually. This Grommet is an elbow for the crankcase breather tube. These rubber elbows were just a convenient way to make a 90 degree bend back when they used metal tubing. Compatible with the equipment shown below.

carburetor rebuild
Had a very good experience with purchasing my part. I spoke with Mary on the initial call but realized I needed further assistance and parts to be ordered. I do not remember the names of the other two who helped me with my order but considering the order took many weeks to arrive it was one of the best experiences I’ve have ordering something. My order was placed in the early days of the pandemic so it was understandable when stocking and shipping were disrupted. The experience was made by the staff working the phones while placing the order. The ladies I spoke with were proficient, professional and personable. Thank you.

Grommet was missing. Ordered new grommet and spark plug Removed the old spark plug and gapped the new one at 0.030. After replacing these parts and adding gas, mower cranked after numerous pulls. After cutting the grass the mower now cranks on first pull. This mower had not been cranked in over a year. I also mixed \"Mechanic in a Bottle

Engine wouldn\'t start because the rubber connectors were cracked
Remove the breather tube, and both grommets from the breather assembly. Remove the old grommets and installed the new grommets. Remove the air cleaner cover and remove the old pre filter and install the new on, then place the cover back on.

Very bad engine misfire, could not be corrected with needle valve adjustment or carb cleaning
1. Removed carburetor and separated top from bottom
2. Saw very slight wrinkle close to spring on fuel pump
3. Replaced membrane, pump spring and breather grommet. Likely only the membrane was worn.
4. Reinstalled carburetor and engine started right up and ran like new!

I removed the lever panel, gas tank, and carborater in that order. I cut a new gasket for the carb to rest on, flushed the carb with cleaner, flushed the gas tank with fresh gas, replaced the diaphram, and reassembled. Finally adding the air filter and replacing the cap. She cranked up after ten pulls. The grommets had weathered and neede

Motor had set up for several years. Gaskets and grommets were bad.
Ordered carburetor for a 25 yo Pollen Garden teller w/Brigs 5 hp engine. Two screw holes had to be opened up with tap. Ordered later two grommets that were needed to replace the old parts. Most difficult to replace this carb. on this engine. When done Just two pulls and purring like a kitten. Good carb.

The carburetor diaphragm was old and no longer worked.
Remove the four screws that hold the diaphragm cover plate to the carburetor.
Remove the cover plate. Notice the orientation of the diaphragm and remove it. At this point spray some carb cleaner through the orifices to remove any debris.
Place the new diaphragm on the carburetor (there is only one way the diaphragm will fit)

Too off air breather to get to carb. Unbolted gas tank and carb. Used tools to take apart carb. Scraped old gaskets off carb. Used carb cleaner spray and compressed air to spray our all holes and cleaned carb. Put new gaskets on then fired right up. Will deff use in the future for parts etc.
