The Briggs and Stratton rebuild kit came with instructions so if your purchasing this kit, you probably already know how to remove the carb and air cleaner assy. The instructions were well explained except they said you need a special tool to remove the needle seat. You don\'t. I found on youtube how to run a drywall screw into the old seat and pry it out. It worked really well. Good Luck!!

Removed carb float bowl bolt from bottom of float bowl. Then push float pin to one side and grab with needle nose pliers, and pull out, keeping other hand under float to catch, with the needle. Take needle and place on new float, being careful not to drop, and line up hole on float and needle into the seat, and push pin back in place. t his was the first time I did this repair and after looking at some parts diagrams, I got the basic idea of where parts went. it was kinda hard to get the needle into the seat, but I didn\'t want to take the carb off as I didn\'t want to mess with the springs.
