This replacement foam filter element is used on Briggs and Stratton engines installed on lawn and garden equipment. It is an authentic OEM sourced part, not an aftermarket equivalent. This filter adds a second layer of protection against the dust and debris. Please note, the main pleated paper filter is sold separately. No tools are needed to replace this filter. • Remove the cover knob • Remove the filter cover • Take out the old filter • Secure the new one • Secure the filter cover
