Saw a very instructive video on how to disassemble the reel I followed instructions and replaced the eccentric spring that was broken. I\'m sure I saved myself a couple of dollars by doing the repair myself.

Full tear down, everything cleaned out or replaced. Was a sentimental reel owned by a grandfather who has passed. It was a pleasure to give his grandson back the reel he was taught with.
