Level wind stopped working

2. Remove the Pilot Guide form inside of level wind pilot shaft
3. Remove the non-handle side of reel
4. Remove retainer holding worm gear in plain
5. Remove worm gear
6. Install new worm gear
7. Re-install retainer holding worm gear (be sure the line gui ... Read more de remains in the bottom grove)
8. Re-install reel side
9. Install new coil spring in screw cap
10. Install new pilot guide - gently slide back in while rotating worm gear to match groves
11. Re-install screw cap (be careful not to let coil spring to fall out when re-installing)
12. Use light weight reel oil on worm gear
