I had disassembled the compressor earlier to discover the reason it wouldn\'t work. Upon arrival of the parts, I found all of the items that I had ordered were very well packed and accompanied by complete diagrams and instructions. This repair could not have gone any better! The order was processed faster than I had expected and the track ing of my order was extremely accurate. I will absolutely order parts again for any of my power tools as needed.

I used a screwdriver to remove two screws holding the motor onto the frame. Then unscrewed four screws to open the motor housing. Then removed the broken hose. Attached the new hose and clamped the hose on each end to secure it. Simple. Just remember to route the motor power cord inside the motor housing along the edge when putting the ho using back together to avoid the fan from striking the cord. Reverse procedure in reassembling

Access to one of the torx screws holding the cover together

Jay from Camden, South Carolina

Difficulty Level:
A Bit Difficult
Total Repair Time:
30 - 60 mins
Tools:
Screw drivers, Socket set
Parts Used:
N044359, CAC-1206-1, N286039
I had to \'make\' a long torx screwdriver to access one of the screws holding the top plastic housing halves together. I used a piece of brass bar, bored a hole in one end to receive a torx bit of the right size and then used a vice to squeeze the sides of the bored area to hold the torx bit in place in order to disassemble then reassem ble the plastic housing. (I also used plumber\'s putty to make sure the bit did not fall out.) It would have been good to have known what size and length screw driver to have before beginning the repair. Everything else was straight-forward.
