Removed shroud over carb. Removed pull starter shroud. Removed throttle linkage from carb and from saws handle that way you can take the air filter housiing off and get it out of the way, simple to put back together. ... Read moretank. This makes things alot easier when replacing the main gas line. Installing the main line was the hardest because the line fits extemely tight into the gas tank. I cut the end of the gas line at an angle in order to get it started in to the tank. The gas line I bought comes with instructions to help you do it right. Once I got it started into the tank I used a surgical Hemostat to reach in the tank and pull the hose into the tank to where I could cut the end square and put a new coupler on it and then attach the fuel filter. Long nose needle nose pliers would work but I didn\'t have a pair. Pulling the hose into the tank was the hardest part because the gas line fits really tight. I put a little WD40 on the line to help lubricate it so it would pull thru easier. Then I replaced all the other gas lines, installed a new Purge Bulb, put new gaskets on the manifold (I didn\'t replace any internal carb gaskets) I put everything back together, put gas in the tank, primed the Purge Bulb and after two pulls it fired right up and runs good.
Replaced fuel line and other items on chain saws and the parts cost less from here then buying then local. Also looked at youtube. But I will get all my parts from this web site because I like their prices and delivery time.

I removed the plastic covers on the top and side of the chain saw to replace the fuel lines to the carburetor and primer bulb. I also removed the fuel cap and drained the fuel from the tank to connect the fuel line in the tank and replace the assy-pick-up and fuel line fitting.

Old fuel line and return line were cracked, yellowed and non functional.
Removed old primer line, fuel, fuel line fitting and filter and replaced the bad parts with the new. Fueled it up and it started after being primed and pulled twice. Easy repair.
I disassembled the cover, removed the carburetor, removed the bad primer bulb and fuel lines.
Installing the fuel line and purge line through the openings was somewhat difficult, but I was able to grab the tapered end I cut with needle nose and pull it into position.

The primer bulb does have marking to indicate which connection goes to the tank and which goes to the carburetor. All parts ordered were used with no problems.
