This is an original Echo replacement part manufactured for use with chainsaws. The gasket forms a seal between the muffler and the small block. It is recommended to replace gaskets when servicing small engines to ensure a good seal when the parts are reassembled. The gasket is sold individually.

... Read moreing no fuel or compression. 2 strokes are way different than a 4 stroke engine. After replacing the parts with the original carb, it fired right up and idled perfectly. So easy to replace. 4 screws, fuel line connectors and throttle linkage was only thing that had to be touched.
I did replace the muffler gasket which was 2 bolts. I did this to clean the flame arresting screen. Very easy too.
